Man, it must have been cool reading comics in the 70s (like in this 1971 issue of World’s Finest). Sure the stories were good, but how could you resist this $1 offer to join the Monster Fan Club? In case you can’t read the fine print, not only do you get a six foot moon monster for your $1, but also a membership card, 12 4×5 glossy photos of your favorite monsters, a bulletin with updates on upcoming monster movies and three terrifying and ghastly bonus masks. I’d buy that for a dollar.
