Toy Commercial Tuesday: Avengers United They Stand

Hey gang, welcome to a brand new weekly feature here on UnitedMonkee where I’ll show off some toy commercials. As a kid, I was always awed by toy commercials with their huge sets and rad sets (buildings, forests, you name it). Anyway, today’s first installment is pretty crazy ad for the late 90s Avengers toys based on the cartoon Avengers: United They Stand. I have vague memories of the cartoon and definitely remember seeing the figures in stores with all their armor and craziness, but don’t think I ever picked any up. Anyway, in this one, you’ve got some pretty hilarious CGI, but the toy-play looks cool and it starts out with a kid reading a comic book, so that’s rad.
