Toy Commercial Tuesday: Air Raiders

I have vague memories of Air Raiders–the air-powered vehicles with tiny action figure line Hasbro produced in the 80s–from my childhood, but I really got interested in the line about two years ago when I was working at ToyFare and we did a Retro Toy Feature (one of my favorite recurring elements in the magazine even today) on them. They seemed cool and fun and I’ve been keeping my eye out for some of the toys while yard sailing since then, but haven’t found any. Did anyone have these toys as a kid? Were they as fun as they look in the commercial?
