I actually have dreams of just being in the same room with all my old comics, reading through them and figuring out the best way to bind them. That is both sad and a little awesome.

The Destiny’s Hand stuff is pretty great, even if you’ve read a million “this reality isn’t the real reality, we must fix it!” stories. I really dig most of Jurgens’ art in this volume. He does some really cool things with shading that make the characters look bold and dangerous and powerful in a really cool way.

Whenever it is that I stop working as a journalist and have the time to really dig through all my old shit and sell off what I don’t want, this is totally the way I’m going with the stuff I do.

Also: I’ve been meaning to read all of Destiny’s Hand for years, but it’s super hard to track down unless you ebay hunt, and I don’t have time to play it on the web, only at cons. I NEED those Agent Liberty appearances, yo!

That’s fair. I think i’m just tired of seeing retreads of the same stories. I don’t get the love that creators have for going back to retell origins we’ve already seen a brazillion times before.

I will get it. I am super curious about what that creative team will do with Batman. Mind you, I’m not going to pay full price and I’m not going to rush out and buy it the first day. But I will get it at some point either on a cheap trades site or possibly Sequential Swap. It will be mine (eventually), oh yes, it will be mine (at some point).
