Wow, you don’t look at your Bloglines for a few days and a hundred awesome things all seem to pop up, go figure.

I saw this College Humor Mortal Kombat video on Topless Robot and was laughing my ass off. I never really thought about it that way before, but it’s true. Hence it’s funny.

Robot 6 also informed me that Ryan Kelly is working on a sequel of the now-defunct Minx’s The New York Four for Vertigo. Longtime readers know I read the book and dug it a little while back, so this is good news for me.

In music news from THR, I found out about two tours I want to check out. First up, Jeff Beck and Eric Clapton will be playing at Madison Square Gardens on Feb. 18. I haven’t been to a concert in years, but I would love to break that streak of lameness on what will surely be something awesome. Also, Weezer and Paramore will be headlining the Bamboozle festival in May. Downside? It’s in Jersey. Upside, I dig both those bands. We shall see what happens.

Hehe, also, this video of a dude riding his bike over an air bag had me laughing longer than it really should have. Thanks I Heart Chaos.

And finally, Jesse Corti, Danielle Harris, Bill Moseley, Joe Pilato, Alona Tal and Cornell Womack have all been cast in the 3D CGI Night Of The Living Dead: Origins. For a full run down on who each person is playing, check out the THR article, though note that they inaccurately said that Harris was in Halloween II, for shame. There was also this quote from director Zebediah de Soto. It’s a bit weird, but I’m still excited for this flick.

“I wanted to make this look like a living Monet; it’s expressionism,” De Soto said. “It’s going to be the first zombie movie played on a epic scale. This is the ‘Empire of the Sun’ of zombie films. … I lived through the L.A. riots and saw the city on fire; I remember seeing people running, people getting pulled out of cars. And with 9/11, these images have been ingrained on people of my generation. I just thought that is the way it would really be, a lot of chaos.”
