A little over a year ago I found myself in Disney World with the missus and my parents. It was one of those land and sea packages that ended in a cruise with 17 total members of my dad’s side of the family to celebrate his parents’ 50th anniversary. A great time was had by all, but my ultimate geek moment was when we hit up Disney’s Hollywood Studios (formerly known as MGM Studios) and I got to see and go on Star Tours. I snapped a bunch of pictures and snagged a good deal of the Disney/Star Wars action figures that I will do a post about shortly. With the ride getting a face lift this year in time for Star Wars Celebration V (one of the few things that makes me wish I could go back to Disney after such a short absence) I figured it would be a good enough time to post a gallery of my pics. I’m not sure if they’re changing the outside or just the inside of the ride (which I will admit, made me a little sick as I’m not a very big fan of rides but went through it because of my love of Star Wars). Anyone planning on heading to Celebration V this year?
