I could never get into Voltron as a kid. I think it’s because I didn’t care about the people driving the robotic cats, I just wanted to see them fight and transform. I was a Transformers fan after all, so that would make sense. Because I never got into the cartoon, I also never got into the toys, though this one looks pretty rad. I love that the kids got to play the parts of the Voltron kids, though I couldn’t tell you if they’re well-portrayed. Any toys that split apart and reform are aces in my book. Anyone have these Matchbox Voltron toys as a kid or the new ones from Toynami which look equally rad?
