I was shocked over the Halloween weekend when my hits started rising higher and higher. I was hoping that people were finally catching onto the blog, but instead it’s because I posted about the official Jersey Shore costumes a little while back. On Friday, I got my most hits ever at 1,060, but then Saturday reached up to a whopping 5,810, dropping down to 3,952 on Halloween and finally reaching my usual number of hits (high 500s/low 600s) with the regular week. It was nice flying so relatively high on the internets, but it was actually a lot more satisfying having my Black Hole review linked to on The Comics Reporter and Journalista thanks to Sean linking to it. Doing this blog thing sometimes feels like throwing transmissions out into space, so it’s cool to know some folks are reading and think something I’ve written was good enough to tell other people about.
