Aside from stop motion I guess. You’ve probably seen a series of these commercials for the Kindle where it looks like frame are missing from regular footage and the backgrounds and props kind of slide in. They’re pretty cool and almost look like the actors are lying down instead of standing up. I figured it might just be a particular director or ad agency’s style, but then I saw this commercial for something called the Spin Pin.
It looks like a sloppier version of the Kindle commercials, which made me wonder if this was a new filming style popping up. Anyone know?

It was a Starbucks download a year or so ago–an embarrassing amount of my non-show tune music is from those little cards.
Oh and I think it’s just stop motion! Like claymation but with real people
