Roseanne Comics Cavalcade: The Golden Age

Today’s Roseanne Comics Cavalcade revolves around yet another poster in Darlene’s basement room, which later turns into David’s room and in the season finale, DJ’s. This time it’s from 1993’s The Golden Age from DC written by James Robinson and drawn by Paul Smith. If you’re a fan of Robinson’s JSA or Sandman or even Darwyn Cooke’s The New Frontier, I think you’d really like this book. I was going to say that this image definitely wasn’t one of the covers, so it must have been used for the the poster and then the trade cover, but if you look at the blurry photo, the central character, Dynaman, has his helmet on, but he doesn’t on the trade cover. I can’t seem to track down an image of the poster itself (which also looks to be cropped to cut out The Atom and everyone to his left. Anyone got an image of it? I’d love to post the actual poster and I’m actually shocked that I’m having such trouble finding images of actual posters and not the covers they graces, but I guess most of these were giveaways and were probably thrown away and not photographed before the days of digital.
