As I mentioned before, the comic fans on Roseanne were big Superman fans. I spotted David wearing yet another Superman T-shirt, this time it’s the symbol of one of the four replacement Supermen that came after Superman died. Cyborg here looked the most like Superman, but with some robotic parts thrown in, which made sense considering he had been beaten to death by Doomsday. Readers now know that he turned out to be the bad boy in the group, but at the time, it was pretty shocking that the one Superman who got the approval of the President became a bad guy. I thought it was ingenious that Geoff Johns took Cyborg here and made him a part of the Sinestro Corps. Mixing Superman and Green Lantern characters? That’s like my crack.
